General description
 
An established site overlooking the Pentland Firth with views
of Stroma Island, Hoy and the Orkney Islands. The site is midway
between the ferry at John o'Groats and the roll-on-roll-off ferry
at Gills Bay. Both of which have daily sailings to Orkney.

This is an open site (no trees) and is about one acre in size.
Half is grassed, half hard-standing - and it is reasonably flat.

Hard-standing and electric hook-ups are provided for 8 motorhomes
and caravans and enough room for 8 normal-sized tents.

All facilities provided on the site are free of charge.

The campsite is open from March to November

How to get there
 
From Wick follow the A99 north to John o'Groats, then turn left
onto the A386 Thurso road (opposite the Seaview Hotel);
the Stroma View is one mile on the left at Huna.
